Ready. Set. Go!

Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy....... have I been slacking!!! I may have been slacking but it's time to change and get back to business. No more excuses!

Where have I been?? Well, I'll tell you. After the wedding, I started slacking off. After all, I had worked my booty off and felt like I needed a break. Did I really need that break? Nope! It was an excuse. I started having more problem with my knee and I started slacking off. That was an excuse too. Don't get me wrong, you have to listen to your body but I went into hibernation. I have learned that I can be active AND be careful with my knee at the same time. It just takes education and a little creativity.

Several people, to include friends AND my ortho doctor told me to try yoga but it was a little outside of my comfort zone. What happens when things are outside of our comfort zone? Well, they rarely happen, at least that is how it is with me. I'm pretty hard-headed and stubborn (so I have been told...lol) but the last time I saw my doctor, about a month and a half ago, he told me that he wanted me to give it a try. I put it off as long as I could and just 3 days before my next appointment with him..... nothing like waiting to the last minute, right?? LOL..... so I tried yoga last week and it turns out, I love it.... go figure! It will definately be something I continue each week.

After putting on some of the weight that I worked so hard to take off and after feeling sorry for myself.... I'm ready to get my butt back into gear. I'm not making any more excuses.... Life is too short and I am ready to live it! Too much has happened over the years to not enjoy my life right now. Life really is good!

It's time to get active again on my fitness pages and my blog. It's time to start tracking and making myself accountable. It's just time for me to be the best ME that I can be. I am ready.
